Why readers trust us

The internet's sharpest tech deals, not the loudest

Anyone can post a "deal". Almost no one checks it. We do — and we tell you exactly how we know it's real.

90-day price history

Every deal is plotted against 90 days of price data from Camelcamelcamel, Keepa, and our own scrapers. If the "was" price isn't the real high, we don't post it.

Manual editor review

An actual human checks each pick before it goes live. We test the link, the stock, the coupon, and the basket total — and reject roughly 6 in 10 submissions.

Updated every 15 minutes

Our crawler runs four times an hour across 40+ UK retailers, so a deal that sells out or a price that bounces is reflected in the feed within minutes.

No paid placements

Retailers can't buy their way to the top. We don't run sponsored slots, and we never swap a verified deal for a worse-but-bigger-commission one. The full policy is public.

How a deal makes the homepage

From price drop to your inbox, in five steps

1

We crawl 40+ retailers

Every 15 minutes, including Amazon, Currys, Argos, John Lewis, Scan, Box, Ebuyer, Laptops Direct and more.

2

We compare to history

New price is checked against 90 days of data. Anything within 5% of the average is dropped automatically.

3

An editor verifies it

A human loads the link, checks stock at the listed price, applies the voucher, and confirms the basket total.

4

It goes live with context

Posted with a price-history chart, retailer reputation note, and a one-line take on whether it's worth the jump.

What readers tell us

"Saved me £340 on a Framework 13 last Black Friday. I genuinely don't shop for tech without checking Switchgeeks first now."
JM
James M.Software engineer, Manchester
"The price-history charts are the killer feature. I can see at a glance whether a 'sale' is real or just a permanent-£10-off-pretend-RRP."
PR
Priya R.IT manager, Birmingham
"I run a small YouTube channel reviewing PC builds. The Switchgeeks newsletter is in my pre-launch checklist — I've bought every GPU in my last two videos via links from there."
